Arrival and First Impressions of Portugal

Your journey begins in Lisbon, a city shaped by centuries of faith, exploration and tradition. Upon arrival, you are welcomed and transferred to your hotel in the historic center. After time to settle in, we begin with a gentle orientation walk through the Alfama district, where narrow streets, tiled houses and small chapels create an authentic introduction to Portugal.

We take time to observe the rhythm of daily life and begin to connect as a group. In the evening, we gather for a welcome dinner accompanied by traditional Fado music — a deeply expressive form of Portuguese culture that reflects themes of longing, faith and identity. This first evening sets the tone for a journey that will balance spiritual meaning with cultural discovery.
