Arrival in Rome & Orientation
Arrive in the Eternal City and meet your spiritual director. After checking into our accommodation, we gather in St. Peter's Square for orientation and celebrate our opening pilgrimage Mass together, marking the start of our spiritual journey.
The Major Basilicas of Rome
Explore the foundational sites of the Church with guided visits to St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran. In the afternoon, we spend time in reflection at the Scala Sancta and the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem.
Vatican City & Papal Audience
Attend the Wednesday General Audience with the Holy Father. Later, immerse yourself in the sacred art and history of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, ending the day with quiet prayer in St. Peter's Basilica.
Journey to Assisi
Travel through the Umbrian countryside to Assisi, the home of St. Francis and St. Clare. We visit the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, housing the humble Portiuncula where the Franciscan movement began.
The Spirit of St. Francis
Celebrate Mass at the Tomb of St. Francis before a guided tour of the medieval town. Enjoy a peaceful afternoon of personal prayer and reflection at the San Damiano Convent, where Francis heard the call to rebuild the Church.
Loreto & the Holy House
Depart for Loreto on the Adriatic coast to visit the Holy House of Nazareth, where tradition holds the Incarnation took place. We celebrate the Eucharist in this profound Marian sanctuary, surrounded by centuries of devotion.
Lanciano & San Giovanni Rotondo
Witness the site of the first Eucharistic Miracle in Lanciano, where the bread and wine visibly became flesh and blood. Continue south to San Giovanni Rotondo, the home of the beloved St. Padre Pio.
In the Footsteps of Padre Pio
Spend the day at the Shrine of St. Padre Pio, visiting the Old Church and the new Basilica hosting his remains. We participate in the Stations of the Cross along the scenic paths, reflecting on the mysteries of faith.
Monte Sant'Angelo & Return to Rome
Ascend to the celestial Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel on Mount Gargano. We then return to Rome for a festive farewell dinner and shared reflections on the spiritual fruits of our pilgrimage.
Final Mass & Departure
Gather for a closing Mass at a historic Roman parish to offer thanks for the graces received during our time in Italy. We then transfer to the airport for our journey home, renewed in spirit and faith.
